Welcome to La Terraccotta
by Indino Gianpiero
Terracotta in Salento by Gianpiero Indino was born in 1807 by Indino Adolfo and has been handed down through four generations, with Indino Giuseppe, Indino Vito, and Indino Gianpiero. From 1807 to today, we have always worked with terracotta and ceramics, maintaining the methods, techniques, and forms typical of the Lucugnano tradition.
In our workshop, everything is crafted and painted strictly by hand. We use electric and gas ovens to fire our products, and an ancient wood-fired oven, used for the traditional olive wood firing of garden vases, is still in use: this gives these objects a distinct, more natural appeal.
Terracotta and ceramic manufacturing since 1807
The Salento artistic ceramics shop in Lucugnano has been producing tableware, artistic ceramics, wedding favors, home furnishings, garden vases, and traditional local crafts for four generations. Each piece is crafted with care and skill, reflecting the tradition and artistry of our land.
